Default A use for decapitate and pets!

Warriors will be happy to know that if you activate scavenger's strike as you activate decapitate before losing all energy, you would regain a heck load of energy back, there for making the disadvantage of losing all energy not as bad as people make it out to be, while still pulling off a heck load of damage.
This is the kind of thing that would be fun for low-end pve and random arenas.

Just wanted to say this to those unaware of this combo for people to try out.

Signet of recall, since you don't have to waste 2 slots (at least) with the pet. 13 energy at 0 inspi.

Nice combo btw.

-5e axe. Now you don't need to waste any skill slots, or your secondary. I'd just stick with evis though.

-5e axe, then +15 energy axe. Instant energy equal to much more than scav strike. And besides, warriors don't need much energy to function anyways. Decapitate is still bad compared to eviscerate.

No, there's the -1 regen +15 energy inscription. "Seize the Day" for spellcasting weapons, and "Live for Today" for focus items.

You don't know much about warriors....do you....

The energy problem isn't what makes Decap bad, it's the adrenaline.

I agree with above

That said I use the War Endurance and the Strength Skills. I still use asuran scan cause I strike for 60% more damage with every attack for 10 seconds. Throw in Drunken master and I attack 30% faster too with no side effects. I never run out of energy.

Ok, since you've wasted your elite you are going to need to use your ADE to keep fighting. As Snow Bunny said the loss of ade is going to hurt you harder than the loss of energy. If something happens to your pet, you don't get any energy back and you lose all the ade you've built back up.

At most scavenger's strike will give you 8 energy every 10 seconds and require you to use 2-3 slots on your bar to use. You can use Decap once and then lose all your ade and have to rebuild it again.

WE will give you at least 30 energy every 10 seconds so long as you have an IAS. You can spam power attack on recharge and use dismember when you need to. At 13 str WE can be kept up all the time.

Decap is just plain bad. If NF is all you have, use cleave or HB.

Charm animal + comfort animal + scavenger's strike all for the boost from eviscerate to decapitate. Man, if only there was a single skill that maybe could boost eviscerate's damage that wouldn't require a secondary or three skill slots. But I'm sure there is nothing like that in Guild Wars.

This. With 3 skill slots at your disposal you can easily buff eviscerate beyond decapitate (at least in PvE). And you don't lose any adrenaline or energy that way.

I always kinda liked Glyph of lesser energy>Decapitate>Immolate>Glowing Gaze. You get a cover on the DW, the burning, the fire damage, you can pack a conjure to boost your first attack, and after GoLE the spells are free and leave you with some energy. It can only happen every 30 seconds though so it's only good in RA to try for an instagib or aybe getting lucky with Air of Superiority.

Before they nerfed FGJ a signet based decapitate fighter didn't suck entirely, you took smiting sigs(or in one fun AB match with a ranger I took toxic shock) with Strength of Honor(again, before they nerfed it to hell) Symbolic, Decapitate and FGJ, pressured with an attack that hits like cleave every 2 shots, then when you got em low hit with decap and a sig to blow em up.

Also in PvE I've been having interesting results with support casters, either smiters or a necro or ele with /P secondary using Inspirational Speech. They have to be microed between fights, but in the middle of a fight they'll fuel you when you need it. They don't need adrenaline and for 5e they give you 3a(which turns into 6 with FGJ on). I haven't used it with decap yet but so far with earthshaker, whirling axe and other stuff the results are creamy.
